Hey there folks! So, you know how they say that experience is the best teacher? Well, let me tell you, becoming a menopause coach while going through the menopause myself has been, um, quite the experience!
Picture this: I’m trying to offer practical strategies for managing menopausal symptoms to my clients, and at the same time, I’m desperately rummaging through my bag for a fan to cool down my personal summer. Oh, the irony!
You see, as I stand in front of the mirror, trying to appear calm, cool, and collected, I’m secretly battling hot flashes and mood swings like a ninja warrior. It’s like my body decided to go on a rollercoaster ride without asking for my opinion – or permission!
But hey, on the bright side, I guess you could say I’m conducting some serious on-the-job research. I mean, who else can say they’re fully immersing themselves in their work? Talk about dedication.. lol
And let’s not forget the whole “practising what you preach” business. I’m doling out advice on nutrition and stress management while secretly fantasizing about diving headfirst into a tub of ice cream. But, I’m all about balance, right?
The best part is trying to maintain an air of wisdom and authority while simultaneously forgetting where I put my keys and walking into rooms wondering what on earth I came in for. Who said multitasking isn’t a valuable skill?
So, to all the menopause coaching enthusiasts out there, rest assured that you’re getting advice from someone who’s in the trenches right alongside you. We’re in this together, navigating the choppy waters of menopause like fearless warriors!
And to my fellow menopausal comrades, take heart. If I can juggle coaching while dealing with hot flashes and mood swings, you can conquer anything! We’ll laugh, we’ll cry, and we’ll navigate this menopausal rollercoaster together. Here’s to embracing the chaos and finding humour in the midst of it all! 😉
